Hurry up and be gone 2015

OMG is all I can say about this year, with selling the house, moving into a rental, only having to then move into another rental within 6 months has put a huge strain on my family.

I am still not well enough to be on treatment, but hopefully that will change as a brave Senator in parliment has opened a senate inquiry into Lyme Like illness, Senator Madigan of Victoria has been travelling around Australia meeting with organisations, doctors and paitents to find out the truth if this disease is in paitents and why are we refused treatment.

Senator Madigan has been the highlight and hope of my year.

Been lots of other stuff happening too but that is the most important for now. I can no longer use a desktop nor laptop, so my husband bought me this andriod tablet, it is wonderful. I just worked out it has a blogger app, so when i see the icon, i can blog away lol.

I keep forgetting to blog lol

Been along time between posts 

I can not believe how long it has been since I last posted.

I have been very ill with treatment, closed down my private salon, sold our home and my health is deteriorating. I have mild dementia and my vision is worse so I no longer crochet for charity anymore. Please excuse my spelling that too is affected, as is my use on a laptop.

This is not a very positive post but the world needs too know how horrific the disease/infection is.

I no longer drive, play with my children, do the house, my amazing husband works full time and then is the cook, cleaner and support for the kids.

My 15 yr old daughter is my carer who helps me bath, dress etc. So not fair for her but she is coping well. In march just pasted I decided to stop my treatment as my blood tests were very bad, 

my organs are not coping with all the meds, supps and changed diet.  

This government needs to acknowledge this bacterial disease and allow the 

health dept to treat us. I am fearful that i will die early because of this illness.

I need IV antibiotics but am unable due to politics, shocking to say the least.

I was searching YouTube looking for a new stitch and new item to make, it has taken 3 weeks on and off to complete this fun project. 

I used Patons brand in Stella 100gm balls x 2 1/2 in  130 silver.

40mm knitting needle and 6mm crochet hook.

Hubby has started making me 40cm length pieces of round timber is assorted widths to made larger size loops, cheaper than buying the knitting needles since u only use one anyway.

Enduring treatment for Lyme Disease

 

 

Sorry it has been awhile since my last blog. I have been treating Lyme Disease now for over 12 months, it has not been pleasant. I have pretty much been bed ridden and home bound for the last couple of months, if it wasn't for my family & Annette I don't know how I would cope.

 

 

This illness is so debilitating and painful at times I wish I could give up but my family keeps me enduring this illness.

 

I often wonder if this bacteria was man made in a lab on Plum Island USA and they injected ticks with it for bio warfare, how could they be so careless to let it escape into the environment. But that is still to be proven and remains a conspiracy theory.

 

Also still waiting for Australia to accept the disease is here......but they denie it, while thousands of infected patients are left to either treat themselves or find a doctor experienced to treat it, it is very costly to treat, some patients have been infected for so long like me they face little to no hope of recovery. We will just be stabilised as best our bodies allow us and stay on medication for the rest of our lives. Well I am tired again so off the PC I go for a rest. shall finish my rant another time when I remember I have a blog page hahahaha.

Teapot Cozies

Have started crocheting easy teapot cozies, I have been making them in footy NRL colours :) 

I ordered these novelty footy buttons for decorate the corners with.

They should arrive in the post soon.

The past week I have been quite ill and havent been able to make any bubba items.

I think this month will be focussed on rest mostly.

 

The school holidays have gone by too fast, I am hoping to take the kids to the movies and see Ironman 3.

Then next week as I will be in the city am hoping to take the kids for a relaxing lunch at Bronte Beach.

 

Once I have a few teapot cozies made I shall post a pic:)



NSW Term 1 School Holidays :)

 

 

So excited the school holidays start this

Friday the 12th April and resume Wednesday the 1st May.

 

I love it when my kids are home over the holidays,

we get to chat, watch movies, play games etc.

Being 13 & 11 yrs old they are still at a great age where

they are still happy to spend time with mum lol.
